Half Day Taxi with Pisac Market
Sacred Valley Transportation 1/2 Day
with Pisac Market visit
This is a great way to explore the Sacred Valley on Peru if you are limited to one day (or even if you are not). We will set you up with a hand-selected, trusted driver of ours. Please note that due to lack of availability, we do not offer English speaking drivers. (We realize that is not always convenient, but there simply are none available. We do offer an English speaking guide for those who want one, but it raises the cost quite a bit, write us for details
You can refer to the bottom of this page for helpful maps of the area.
Our drivers are known to us and have received training in safe driving procedures. They can be trusted for you to leave all your luggage in the car while you are visiting the sites.
For all tours, you can begin and/or get dropped off in either Cusco, Urubamba, Pisac, or Ollantaytambo – your choice. That includes the Cusco airport and/or the Ollantaytambo train station. On this half day day taxi trip, you will visit the market of Pisac, aka the Pisaq market.
The Pisac Market is an authentic, local market with a history that precedes Peru tourism – here the local mountain people come down with their produce and products to sell. It is a wonderful experience and although there certainly are other travelers there and many of the products are bought only by travelers, it still is the real deal and a great visit. Bring your bargaining skills !
The Pisac Market takes from one to two hours to visit. The 1/2 Day trip is valid for up to 4.5 hours and costs $84 total for a taxi, (up to 3 or 4 people) or else a minivan costs $99 total (up to 8 people).
