Begin your day in the charming town of Chincheros, where centuries-old traditions come to life in a bustling local market. Delve into the vibrant tapestry of Andean culture as you interact with skilled artisans and explore the colorful stalls.
From there we'll venture to the Salt Mines of Maras, a surreal landscape of terraced salt pools cascading down the mountainside. You'll witness the ancient techniques still employed by local families today.
Our third stop is the Moray archaeological site, where giant circular terraces hint at the Incas' innovative agricultural practices.
Next, we'll ascend to the Pisac Ruins, perched above the Sacred Valley. You'll explore ancient temples and terraces, each with a deep history and offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
We will conclude the adventure at the lively Pisac Market, where you'll find vibrant textiles and handcrafted souvenirs.
We will set you up with a hand-selected, trusted driver of ours. Please note that we do not offer English-speaking drivers. We do, however, offer an English-speaking guide for those who want one, but it raises the cost.
You can leave your luggage and things in the car while you are visiting the sites, we know and trust our drivers deeply.
The Salt Mines and Moray take about 1 hour each to visit and are about a 1-hour drive from Pisac. Ollantaytambo and Pisac are also about a 1-hour drive apart. The Pisac Ruins take 2 to 3 hours to properly go through, they are spread out over a large area. The Pisac Market will take an hour or two.
