Mountain biking is the reason we moved to Peru in the first place – after starting in Minnesota and Colorado and then checking out most of the world, we decided to settle here to live and ride our mountain bikes.
Whether you are a casual or novice biker content to zoom 6,000 feet all downhill on a paved road (“Abra Malaga”), or an experienced rider looking for the best the area has to offer (“Downhill Fantasy”) or anywhere in between, we are your best choice for a two-wheeled adventure while visiting Machu Picchu.
Our bike tours have been featured in BIKE magazine, the New York Times, CNN.com, and other major media. We have participated in several professional filming & photo shoot expeditions, and every year we organize an international Downhill race (www.IncaDownhill.com)
“We are alive, gloriously alive, however temporarily !”
You don’t have to be a pro to ride with us, though – we are just regular guys and gals from around the world who live here because we love mountain biking.
We feature REAL mountain bikes which are tops in the Sacred Valley. Full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and professional bilingual guides DO make a difference, and we have them ! Due to the extreme topography of the Sacred Valley (i.e. steep downhills), nearly all of our mountain bike tours are shuttles, meaning we drive to the top and then ride down. As we like to say, “If you want to climb up our trails, …. bring a tent !”
