“A Super Peru Getaway”

Myself and some girlfriends recently headed for some for some adventure and time out in Peru! I came across KB TAMBO HOSTAL through being recommended to KB for a trekking tour. KB went out of his way to taylor the most incredible 3 day trek tour package which we were honored to have him take us on. We arrived at the Hostal a few days before to unwind and all felt immediately relaxed in the tranquil setting of the place! The Hostal is most conveniently and centrally located in the charming town of Ollantaytambo to all amentities. The rooms were cosy, quite and charming. There is a quaint courtyard garden and roof deck where we spent some time unwinding. The service was superb and the staff most helpful always going out of their way to help with our day to day needs. The small restaurant in the front was also excellent with wonderful local cuisine….I tried Alpaca Steak….apparently the best in the town for this! having continental breakfast included in the lodging price is such a deal too! I can highly recommend a stay at KB’s and one of his amazing tours! Both are excellent value and come with a very personal touch!

Room Tip: I took two different rooms over the trip before and after my trek tour. I recommend one of the back upper level rooms to be tucked right away and to over look the beautiful garden courtyard.

My wife and I honeymooned at the KB TAMBO HOSTAL on our way to Machu Picchu and could not have asked for more. The rooms were so nice, comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and easy. A huge plus was the delicious breakfast that got us going one morning before we set out to greet the Inca spirits bright and early. We will never forget our time in Ollantaytambo thanks in large part to team KB. Thanks again!

A nice oasis tucked into a picturesque town, what more could you as for? The hotel staff was extremely polite, very knowledgeable about the area and even gave us a tip to haggle down the Ollanta ruins admission price to just 70 soles for two people instead of the 110 soles/ea price!The guides and services were awesome, and the Abra Malaga downhill ride was great. Its starts from the Abra Malaga pass down a single lane paved road, passing through small villages and ends back in Ollantaytambo. Awesome views the whole way down.
