Rooms and Rates

We are travelers too, and thus we have tried very hard to ensure you the BEST hotel stay in Ollantaytambo, all at a great price. We feature high quality imported sheets, modern bathrooms with steaming hot showers 24 hours a day, all in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.

We have an outstanding location – right in the center of Ollantaytambo, close to everything but with a peaceful, quiet vibe inside. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and a rooftop deck with a 360 degree view of town, plus a rooftop bar (weather permitting)

We have 2 types of rooms, for all budgets. All of our rooms are private, and of course all of them are complete with private, modern bathrooms with hot water 24 hours a day. Other amenities include an in-room library of paperback books, reading lamps, and tables in most rooms. All rooms also include a free continental breakfast the following morning.

We have two room types at KB Tambo:

Superior, and Garden View

Both room types feature 24 hour hot water, private modern bathrooms, imported high quality sheets and bedding, and  WiFi in all of the rooms. In addition, they are all away from the main street and accompanying noise, and we and our staff make every effort to make your stay as quiet and pleasant as possible.

Our Superior rooms were recently constructed, with high ceilings ( a bit of a rarity in Peru) and massive windows to let in the sunshine ! They have brand new, modern bathrooms with very hot water 24 hours a day, tables and reading lamps, in-room paperback library and more. They all have views of either our flower garden and/or the surrounding mountains and Inca ruins. We have Suites available in Singles, Doubles, Triples, and Matrimonial sizes – the matrimonials feature one large, queen size bed while the doubles have two regular size beds. The cost is $29 per person.

 Our Garden View rooms are in the older part of the building, with original Inca walls between them. We have retained the original character of the building and kept these rooms in order to offer you a quality room experience at a lower price.  We have Garden View rooms available in Singles, Doubles, Triples, and Matrimonial sizes – the matrimonials feature one large, queen size bed while the doubles have two regular size beds. The cost is $22 per person, including in-room WiFi and free continental breakfast.
