We are always looking for people to join our team here at KB Tambo Hotel and Tours in Ollantaytambo. Of course the pay is not up to the same scale as developed countries but the benefits include being able to live in one of the most internationally vibrant and beautiful towns in South America. We are hiring for the following positions:

1.  Hotel Reception -  We are looking for help in the reception area of our hotel in Ollantaytambo. esponsibilities include helping our guests with whatever information or assistance they need to make their stay more enjoyable. Pay varies but depends entirely upon hours worked, which can be anywhere from 10 to 50 hours a week depending on the applicant’s wishes. The only requirement is basic Spanish, fluent English, ability to solve problems in a changing environment, and the sincere enjoyment of working with other travelers. Minimum duration is three months.

2. Mountain Bike Guide – Based in our office in Ollantaytambo, responsibilities include explaining the rides to interested clients, preparing the gear and bicycles before morning departures, and guiding the clients during the actual rides. Requirements are basic Spanish, fluent English, mechanical bike knowledge, ability to solve problems in a changing environment, and a friendly disposition. Minimum duration is three months.

3. Trekking Guide - Based in our office in Ollantaytambo, responsibilities include explaining the rides to interested clients, preparing the gear before morning departures, and guiding the clients during the actual treks. Requirements are basic Spanish, fluent English, ability to solve problems in a changing environment, and a friendly disposition. Minimum duration is three months.

4. Office Support Staff, Cusco - This position is in our newly opened office in Cusco. Responsibilities include being in the office to explain trips to potential clients as well as make sales bookings for our many trips. This will be accomplished both by speaking in person to travelers walking in the office (near the Plaza de Armas) as well as internet correspondence. A friendly disposition and genuine like of people is needed along with basic internet skills. This position has flexible hours and pay is dependent primarily on hours worked per week. Bonuses include getting to go for free on all the trips you will be selling! Minimum duration is two months.
